The directory 'utils' holds a few useful programs. 'tgatoppm', and 'ppmtoilbm', and their manual files, are a portion of the NETPBM distribution, which is Copyright 1989 Jef Poskanzer. The Amiga release is from Ingo Wilken. 'pngtopnm' is an addition to the collection, Copyright 1995 Alexander Lehmann. These files are included without explicit permission, but in compliance with the distribution and use requirements set forth as follows:
"Permission to use copy, modify, and distribute this software and its documentation for any purpose and without fee is hereby granted, provided that the above copyright notice appear in all copies and that both that copyright notice and this permission notice appear in supporting documentation. PNG datatype support is available both on Aminet and the POVAmiga home page,
but due to license restrictions they are not included in the POV-Ray
distribution archive.
