The ground-based units fleeing the Farwal Colony are being pursued by a large enemy force.  I am sending you to an area of rough hills and canyons to set up an ambush for the pursuing  units.  If you fail to stop the enemy the Farwal colonists will be either captured or killed.

You will be inserted deep in the southern hemisphere just behind the Farwal convoy.  I am generating a number of false energy signatures in the area to deceive the enemy as to the convoy's true location.  As you may have guessed the creatures are going to find our little trap instead of the convoy.  When they discover that they have been fooled you will be identified as a primary target. 

You will be joined by a Voltar Sar-1 that is transporting three Statonex Autocannons.  The shuttle will deploy four Statonex Autocannons in your patrol area and then will assist you in destroying any enemies that appear in pursuit of the convoy.

You must eliminate all enemies encountered for this mission to be successful.
