[LAYOUTER] dialog box

The [LAYOUTER] dialog box allows you to adjust the position of inserted titles.

[TITLE SAFE AREA] check box

If checkmarked, the title safe area will be shown on the screen.
It is recommended to place titles within this frame.

[OVER SCAN AREA] check box

If checkmarked, the overscan area will be shown on the screen.

[BASIC AREA ] button

Allows you to select the basic area to be used as the basis for adjusting title position.
Usually, use the title safe area.

Tip

The underscan area is the range in which source data video is shown. On the other hand, the overscan area is the range in which edited videos are shown when viewed on a TV set. Therefore, if you place a title on the underscan area, the title image might be lost.

[Cornering] buttons

Sets the title image positioning marks to the corners of the selected area.

[Centering] buttons

Sets the title image at the center of the selected area.

XY boxes

Allows you to type values of the X and Y coordinates into the box to move the title.

[H positioning button] button

Sets the title to the horizontal position of an image.

[V positioning button] button

Sets the title to the vertical position of an image.
