The Parametric Equalizer allows you to emphasize or suppress specific frequencies.
Setup dialog
Specify high, medium, and low frequencies and set their gain and Q. The gain settings determine the increase or decrease in volume. The Q settings determine the amount of level increase or decrease relative to the frequency. Large values for Q cause the levels to change suddenly for the specified frequencies.
Select LOW, BAND, or HIGH to specify how gain and Q are applied to the specified frequencies.
- LOW:
- Applied to frequencies below the specified frequency.
- BAND:
- Applied to the band that includes the specified frequency.
- HIGH:
- Applied to frequencies above the specified frequency.
