SiS IDE Install Utility fixed the bug of showing disk informations. 2. One IDE Mode 4 Hard Disk (Segate ST-5850AT) with SCSI Card (AHA 2940) mounted with any SCSI Hard Disk. System will hang at accessing SCSI H.D when SiS IDE driver active. Sol: Fixed by unmasking 8259 IMR. 3. AutoCAD R13 will fail with SiS IDE driver active. Sol: Version 1.09 fixed. 4. Fujitsu H.D. will still run under PIO mode when it has been setted to DMA mode by SiS IDE Install Utility. Sol: Modified by driver won't show DMA message when H.D doesn't support DMA mode. 5. Windows 3.1 PS/2 mouse driver can't work with SiS IDE DOS driver. Sol: Version 1.09 fixed. 6. WDC 31000 H.D cann't boot with Windows NT 3.51 while SiS IDE Windows NT driver loaded. Ans: Please remember to use Un-Install function to remove SiS IDE DOS Driver after SiS IDE Netware Driver installed. 2 How to use 32-bit file access for Hard Disk and CD-ROM working at the same channel in WFW 3.11 environment ? Ans: It is a limitation of the system. You should either put the devices in different channel or turn the 32-bit file access off. 3. DOS Driver adjusts HD speed by parameter : E.g: You can write the following line in config.sys device=c:\siside\sisdr.sys /Rxxxx /Axxxx Where x could be 0 .. 9, A .. F for speed .
