VPOP3

This 30 day trial version of VPOP3 is a powerful, yet easy to use Internet email server and gateway for Windows 95 & NT. It allows everyone on your network to have Internet and local email using a standard Internet email account and a dial-up connection.

VPOP3 will dial up your Internet provider and download and send all your Internet mail. It can even consolidate mail from several Internet provider accounts for ease of access. Your users then connect to the VPOP3 server across the network to retrieve and send their own personal mail, without being able to see the mail for other users.

You can also make your life easier by telling VPOP3 to generate automatic responses to customer queries, run mailing lists, connect to your Internet provider according to your schedule and even filter your email before downloading it to reduce SPAM to your entire network if you wish.

VPOP3 is a fully multithreaded program for higher performance and will perform adequately even on ageing PCs. It will also run as a service on Windows NT.

To send and receive your email on your network you will need a standard Internet email client such as Microsoft Internet Mail, Outlook Express or Netscape Messaging to connect to VPOP3.

VPOP3 works best if your Internet provider allows an email address per user (many UK providers do this as standard on their low cost accounts), but if they don’t, it can still provide useful functions.
