On this notebook page you can configure some XFolder settings individually for every folder. This allows you to override some of the global settings specified on the "XFolder" pages in the OS/2 System object. Initially, the settings will be the same as within the Global Settings; if you change anything here, this will be remembered for this folder only, and changes to the Global Settings will not affect this folder any more.

Changing the settings will take effect immediately.

Press "Undo" to restore the settings that were in use before you opened this settings page.

Press "Default" to make this folder behave according to the XFolder Global Settings. This will remove the data which was remembered for this folder.

The following settings are available for individual folders:

The "Favorite folder" setting will create a submenu with this folder's title in all context menus so you can access this folder's contents from any folder. See the XFolder Online Reference under "Folder content functions" for details on this function.

The "Quick Open" setting will populate this folder immediately after the WPS has started to ensure that you can quickly view the contents of this folder when you open it. Please consult the XFolder Online Reference for details also.

"Snap to grid" will add a "Snap to grid" menu item to this folder's context menu.

"Full path in title" will display the full folder path in the title of open views of this folder.

"Folder hotkeys" will allow you to use folder hotkeys in this folder.

"Status bar" will display a status bar in open views of this folder.

Please see the respective help panels for the XFolder Global Settings for details.
