On this notebook page you can change the settings for the XFolder Startup and Shutdown folders. Changing the settings will take effect immediately.

In the "XFolder Startup folder" group, press "Create" to have a new empty XFolder Startup folder created on your Desktop. Please consult the XFolder Online Reference for details on this folder. Note that this button is disabled if the XFolder Startup folder already exists.

With the "Delay per object" setting, you may specify (in milliseconds) how long XFolder waits for each object in this folder after it has been started. Raise this setting if you experience WPS hangs at startup. Lower this setting if you consider the startup procedure too slow.

With the "Show status window" setting you can determine whether you will see a status window while the XFolder Startup folder is being processed. This window shows you a progress bar and contains a "Cancel" button to abort processing. If you disable this setting, the startup procedure will run invisibly, and you will not be able to cancel it.

With the "Create" button in the "XFolder Shutdown folder" group you can create a new XFolder Shutdown folder. This button is also disabled if the folder already exists. There is no "Delay" setting for the Shutdown folder because during the shutdown procedure, XShutdown will only progress to the next object in this folder after the current object has been closed again.

Press "Undo" to restore the settings that were in use before you opened this settings page.

Press "Default" to restore the settings to the installation state.
