Optional Dialog Enhancer Boot Logo

INTRODUCTION

 Enclosed is a new Dialog Enhancer boot logo for OS/2 Warp 4.0. The logo can be viewed under PM View for OS/2 before application using the instructions below.

INSTALLATION

1. Using the ATTRIB command in an OS/2 command line session, remove the attributes on the file OS2LOGO in the root directory of the OS/2 boot drive. 

Eg :	ATTRIB C:\OS2LOGO -R -H -S

2. Make a backup of the current logo in case of any problem.

Eg :	COPY C:\OS2LOGO C:\OS2LOGO.OLD

3. Copy the .LGO file from the current folder over the OS2LOGO file ont he boot drive.

Eg :	COPY C:\DESKTOP\FOLDER\DEBOOT.LGO C:\OS2LOGO

4. Return the attributes of the file to their original state.

Eg :	ATTRIB C:\OS2LOGO +R +H +S +A


NOTES

The new logo will be replaced with the default IBM one on uninstallation of Dialog Enhancer, provided the Dialog Enhancer installer was made to install the new enhanced logo.

The logo must under any circumstances be used as it is on a Warp 3.0 system without modification (resizing and re-saving) under PM View image viewer.
