We have a lot of interesting workshops planned for "Warpstock Europa 99" (http://www.warpstock.de). I am very proud to announce the 2-day workshop "How to create physical device drivers for OS/2." In our driver poll earlier this year we (TeamOS/2 Deutschland eV) received more than 36,000 messages with driver requests ( http://www.teamruhr.de/PRESSE/presse.html). I hope this workshop can help to make the situation a little better.
The Univercity of Bochum expands its support in our event so we can announce that we can lower the prices for exhibitors. The prices can be found at the Warpstock site. I hope we can invite more shareware authors. They get the chance to demonstrate and sell their software.
IBM supports Warpstock with 10 Warp 4 Clients and 5 Aurora Server, all licenses are not-for-resale.
The Warpstock site is in a re-design phase. The translation is in progress and an English version will be available soon.
Some universities contacted us. They asked us if we can help them get education licenses from IBM software e.g., Warp Server, Client, C++, etc. IBM stopped "Project Education." This was a mistake, IBM should revive it.
Please do not hesitate to send me any news related to OS/2 from around Germany.
