The last few years activity in Team OS/2 Denmark has decreased considerably in most parts of the country, with the exception of a few regions and individuals.
Is there a future for Team OS/2 as we know it in Denmark? We used to attend computer fairs, promote OS/2 in computer shops, and arrange meetings with students. That's all in the past thanks to IBM's limited interest in private users and small businesses, and with no new versions coming out (Aurora isn't affordable to that group of users) most potential users prefer an operating system that has been released more recently.
Incidentally, the potential users whom IBM seem to have "abandoned" are the people Team OS/2 in Denmark wanted to reach. Now our primary means of contact with those users are our web site (http://www.teamos2.dk/) and the Danish OS/2 newsgroup (news:dk.edb.os2) while we seldom, or never, meet the users face to face anymore.
I've come to think of my local Team OS/2 "branch" as a user group, rather than an organization of experienced OS/2 users helping less experienced users and promoting OS/2. What I really like about the local Team OS/2 meetings I go to every now and then, is the fact that the people at those meetings doesn't assume I'm running the "default" operating system (Windows), as people otherwise often believe.
Do you think Team OS/2 has a future in its original form, or have
your "branch" already migrated to something else? Comments are very welcome

There are still no new FixPaks available in Norwegian or Swedish.
Please do not hesitate to send me any news related to OS/2 from around the Scandinavian area.
