TeamOS/2 Deutschland eV was asked by a group of users if we can help them build a local TeamOS/2 association in Reutlingen. Sure we can. Maybe you will hear about the foundation of TeamOS/2 Reutlingen eV in the next issue.
The next issue of the german OS/2 magazine "OS/2 only" will be released this month. More information can be found at http://www.cefischer.de/.
TeamOS/2 Ruhr eV (http://www.teamruhr.de) is preparing to start a "beta test" to help non-OS/2 users to get OS/2. As I told the associations, show a lot of platform-independent stuff like MySQL, TCP/IP, Java and so on. But also a lot of OS/2-dependent stuff. The problem is: where to get cheap OS/2 licenses if a non-OS/2 user wants to test this operating system? TeamOS/2 Ruhr eV bought several original licenses from private users and will resell them to private users. They can test OS/2 and if they like it, buy a cheap license. If they cannot use it, we buy it back. If this works, other TeamOS/2 associations in Germany will offer it too.
Please do not hesitate to send me any news related to OS/2 from around Germany.
