Some of the programs and utilities mentioned in the last few month's reports has been updated, including The Larsen Commander, BladeEnc's OS/2 port and InetPowerServer. You can find links to these, and other, products on my page with links to Scandinavian OS/2 resources at http://www.nightcall.dk/os2links.htm.

Other news this month:

FixPak 38 for Warp 3
ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/fixes/v3.0warp/

FixPak 38 has been released in Danish, Finnish and Norwegian translations, while the Swedish translation isn't available yet.

FixPak 8 for Warp 4
ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/ps/products/os2/fixes/v4warp/danish/

FixPak 8 has been released in a Danish translation. Currently it isn't available in the other Scandinavian translations (in fact, not even FixPak 7 is available).

PMView 2.0 beta program
http://www.pmview.com/beta/

The PMView version 2.0 beta program is now open. In order to become a beta tester you have to be a registered user of PMView, and you will also have to join a mailing list, which probably isn't a bad idea since the programmer naturally wants to be in touch with the beta testers.

F/X Communication's InJoy Firewall v1.0
http://www.fx.dk/firewall/

The InJoy Firewall has been released, it connects private LANs to the Internet. For more information on this product please visit F/X Communications home page, as I'm no expert on Internet technology.

Finally, I wish everyone who reads this a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Please do not hesitate to send me any news related to OS/2 from around the Scandinavian area.
