If your printer driver supports printing to a file, the Print to file named field will not be greyed out. In this case, you may enter a filename here for sending output to a file rather than to a printer. Some printer drivers also support this option from the printer setup dialog box accessible with the Set printer option. You may choose either method. Some printer drivers (e.g. Postscript) will not overwrite a file if you use the second method. The area of the page in which the plot will be displayed is indicated. You can change this by selecting the Set Page button. You can then adjust the area with the mouse, and click on button 1 to select the new area. Another way of doing this is by typing the appropriate data into the entry windows which give the size of the plot area, either in centimeters or relative to the page size. If you wish to adjust the default behaviour of the printer, choose the Job properties option. This will bring up your printer setup dialog box. This is part of the printer driver, and the features you can adjust will depend on your printer. You can generally use this to swich between landscape and portrait mode, for instance. Note that some drivers might not have any options. ═══ 23. Printer selection dialog box help ═══ This dialog box enables you to select the printer on which your output will appear.
