UPS Monitor is designed for the
smart signaling APC UPS model
Back-UPS Pro and Smart-UPS and
possibly other APC models. UPS
Monitor is designed for cable
number 940-0095A and
940-0024B or C (shown on the
cable connector).

Consult your UPS manual to find
out if your UPS uses smart signaling.

UPS Monitor is also available for
the simple signaling APC models
Back-UPS and Back-UPS Office and
for contact closure UPS made by
Tripplite and others. Please see

The online Help of UPS Monitor contains
a wealth of information. This software
deals with shutting your system down
during power failures. Please
familiarize yourself with the program
operation and understand how shutdown
of the operating system and UPS turn-off
happens before you use UPS Monitor.



I N S T A L L A T I O N

Note: If you run Warp 4, fixpack 10
      and Object REXX, you must switch
      to classic REXX to install UPS
      Monitor. After installation, you
      can switch back to Object REXX.

To complete installation, simply follow
the prompts given by the installer.



U N I N S T A L L A T I O N

Run UNINSTAL.CMD from your UPS Monitor
folder which will completely remove all
UPS Monitor files and objects from your
system. No reboot is required.
