Notes ÄÄÄÄÄÄ WarPaint also has a pattern selector that has shown itself to be quite flaky so by default it does not appear when WarPaint starts. On some machines, after a fresh reboot, any programatic selection of the pattern selector causes a trap in PmMerge.dll. If we do not select it programatically, it will run but manually selecting a pattern can cause the program to become unresponsive. You can try your luck with the pattern selector by placing the "/P" (without the quotes) parameter in the "Parameters" entry field of the WarPaint properties notebook. If you select a pattern and the cursor dissappears or the program becomes unresponsive, press the Control-Escape key combination and terminate the program immediately. The more time you spend fiddling with it in this condition, the longer it will take to kill it.
