ConfigEdit/2 

Welcome to ConfigEdit/2. A (not so) simple configuration system for the OS/2 
config.sys. 

ConfigEdit/2 will allow you to auto-generate config.sys files from a Data Base 
of commands. These commands can be either written by hand or imported from an 
existing config.sys file. It can also manage OS/2's Recovery Choices, run 
Tyra/2 on the generated configuration and even get detailed information on 
every config.sys command.

═══ 2. General Information ═══

General Information 

The first thing you need to do is Import (Ctrl-I) your current config.sys and 
any other config files that you may be using. Remember to Save (Ctrl-S) the 
Data Base. 

After you create your Data Base, you can drag-drop whole folders or just parts 
of them to the Config View. Once the Config View has the items that you want, 
you can Generate (Ctrl-G) your new config.sys file. 

You can also use your own editor, but remember that you won't be able to open 
multiple items. You can only edit one item at a time. 

Also by double-clicking on any config.sys command, you can get detailed 
information about it. 

Please read the History information for changes from older versions.

Ctrl-G - Generate a config.sys. 
Ctrl-I - Import a config.sys. 
Ctrl-S - Save Data Base. 
Ctrl-E - Settings. 
Ctrl-X - Exit 
Ctrl-R - Recovery Choices Manager 
Ctrl-T - Run Tyra/2 

Ins - Insert new command or folder. 
Del - Delete current item. 
Enter - Edit current command. Expand/Collapse tree. 

Ctrl-Up - Move item up. 
Ctrl-Down - Move item down. 
Ctrl-Left - Move item left (out of a tree). 
Ctrl-Right - Move item right (into a tree). 

Mouse Double-Click - Get information on clicked text.
