To use the one month evaluation version of the LJV Utilities, you
must run the SETUP program from the directory in which the
uncompressed utilities reside.

The SETUP sets the expiration date for each of the programs so that
they will revert back to their original state one month later.  At
that time (hopefully before) you will have decided to order the
utilities.

The evaluation version of the LJV Utilities come in 2 zip files. 
Please do not change the contents of the zip files.

LJV1E.ZIP contains the following files:

   ATTR.EXE    File Attribute setting/display utility.
   BGREP.EXE   Binary GREP, allows one to search for HEX patterns in 
                  any file.
   ERA.EXE     A safe erase (delete) program, requests verification 
                  when deleting wildcarded files.
   FCOMP.EXE   An ASCII source file compare utility, allows
                  side-by-side comparisons or you can use the diff format.
   FF.EXE      A file find utility.
   FREE.EXE    A disk utilitization utility.
   VCOMP.EXE   An advanced binary compare utility.  This tool even
                  checks EA's and can display the difference between
                  the files.
   PERF.EXE    A simple disk performance tool.  Useful when setting
                  the sizes of your disk caches.
   RFD.EXE     Ever want to remove full directories and its
                  sub-directories with one command?  This tool will do
                  it.  Has option to bypass prompts.
   SETUP.EXE   This program is required to enable use of all the
                  other executables for the one month evaluation
                  period.

LJV2E.ZIP contains the following files:

   LWHAT.EXE   What string display utility.  Use this tool to list
                  out the version info when reporting back to LJV
                  Consulting.
   LJET.EXE    Laser Jet print utility.  Great for source file
                  listing.  Prints 160 lines up to 132 columns on
                  each page.
   SWEEP.EXE   Utility to allow one to execute simple minded programs
                  that do not handle sub-directories.
   TAB.EXE     Efficiently removes those nasty tab characters from
                  your source files.  Tab will even allow you to put
                  them back in if you really want to.
   TOUCH.EXE   Sets the last modified date/time for the files
                  specified.
   TREE.EXE    Clean directory tree display tool, has option to show
                  size of all files within each directory.
   UPDATE.EXE  Copies files from source to destination if differences
                  are detected.  Prompts for each copy or the prompt
                  can be bypassed. Checks file dates, file contents,
                  and EA's.
   VCD.CMD     Command file to be used with VCDPGM.EXE.
   VCDPGM.EXE  Command line utility to quickly change directories
                  with only partial directory specification. Features
                  a pop up window for selection when multiple matches
                  occur.  Also features a full screen mode with some
                  NCD like features.
   VDIR.EXE    Visual directory lister.  This tool features color
                  coding based on extension and detection and display
                  of EA's associated with any file.
   SETUP.EXE   This program is required to enable use of all the
                  other executables for the one month evaluation
                  period.

NOTE : Most of the tools in the package support the HPFS long file
       names, color encoding schemes, and directory recursion.
