Save the existing CONFIG.SYS file (b.) Add the USB device drivers to hte OS2\BOOT directory on the Boot partition. (c.) Update the CONFIG.SYS file with the appropriate USB entries. BASEDEV=USBUHCD.SYS BASEDEV=USBD.SYS /REQ:USBUHCD$ BASEDEV=USBHID.SYS Where C: is the drive letter of the OS/2 boot partition on your system. (d.) On IBM 365 systems, update the BASEDEV=USBUHCD.SYS entry in CONFIG.SYS with the /FS parameter. The entry should appear as: BASEDEV=USBUHCD.SYS /FS (e.) With use of IBM DockStation III which has an additional USB controller the following line must be added to CONFIG.SYS after the USBUHCD.SYS parameter line. You must now REBOOT you system to initialize the USB device driver support. 3.0 USB-Basic Un-Install Instructions ================================ 3.1 Copy your original CONFIG.SYS file that you previously backed up to the OS/2 boot-partition root directory on your system and overwrite the USB-version of CONFIG.SYS that is already in your OS/2 boot-partition root directory. 3.2 Safely shut down and then re-boot your system in order to re-load the original (non-USB) mouse and keyboard drivers properly. 4.0 Requirements ================= 4.1 Hardware 4.2 Software (end)
