**** IMPORTANT NOTE FOR V2.10 and V2.11 USERS ****

If you reinstalled OS/2 or run different OS/2 partitions, and have had a
problem with losing registration, your current FTPIT.INI may have been
created in a root directory instead of the FTPIT directory. Please check
the root directories of your OS/2 boot drives for an FTPIT.INI file that
is more recent than the one in your FTPIT directory. If you find this
condition, please copy the most recent FTPIT.INI to your FTPIT directory
before executing this version.



Now, if you are reading this from the INSTALL program's initial window,
          please skip down to 'Running INSTALL.EXE'

FTP-It! is installed from an installation ZIP, ftpit23.exe, that you can
download from many of the popular FTP sites.

You can always find the most current version of FTP-It! at:
      ftp.wilmington.net/bmtmicrom, OR
      http://www.bmtmicro.com
We also upload to hobbes, leo and other sites.

Note that the ZIP is a self-extracting zip of the installation files, and
that the program's version number will be part of the file name so it will
change with each new release.

To install FTP-It! from the installation ZIP that has been downloaded
  into the temporary directory C:\TEMP

    - Open an OS/2 command window

    - Type  C:  and press ENTER

    - Type  CD \TEMP  and press ENTER

    - Type  ftpit23  and press ENTER to extract the installation files

    - Type INSTALL and press ENTER

    - Skip down to 'Running INSTALL.EXE'

Running INSTALL.EXE

  At this point you should be reading this from the INSTALL program window

  - Click 'Actions' on the menu bar and then click 'Install Product'

  - Wait for the 'Installation directory' window

  - Change the destination drive and/or directory if you want to

     NOTE: PLEASE don't change anything else on this window

  - Press ENTER

  - Verify the location of the installation files is correct, and
     change it if necessary

  - Press ENTER and wait for installation to complete

  - Press and hold ALT and press F4 to close the installation program
