Known problems:

• There is no horizontal scrollbar
• The vertical scrollbar cannot be transparent
• You cannot use a percentage value for the applet width or height (eg: 100%)
• The tree will hold it's state when you come back to it with the Netscape browsers but not with MS IE 4.0.
• Occasionally, when a link is made, the tree and/or scrollbar disappears from view just until the curser is over the area again.

Most common errors made:

• The most common error is that the syntax has been incorrectly written. If you experience problems where the tree does not behave as it should, please open the JAVA console which is under OPTIONS, SHOW JAVA CONSOLE in the Netscape browser. You may find an error message here which will tell you what the problem is.

• Other common errors made:

  • A semicolon has been missed somewhere in the syntax.
  • The html reference is incorrect.
  • The picture name is incorrect.
