Using Pictures

You can incorporate your own pictures into the "tree branches" if you wish, providing that the pictures are in a valid GIF format. They should be 16 x 16 pixels in size.

The valid syntax may be:

• auscomp.gif;
• images/my.gif;

If you have placed the picture in the SAME directory as the HTML file, you need not include the path with the picture name.

The syntax is actually written in the same way as in the SRC (Source) tag within your HTML document.

If the picture does not show, it is usually because:

• The picture's name could not be found (eg. typing error etc.)
• The picture is not a valid gif.
• The location could not be found (eg. the specified path was incorrect etc.)
