Trouble
shooting:
If you don't see our Java applet or any pictures in the left frame - the following items could be the cause:
You are using MS Internet Explorer 3.02 or MS Internet Explorer 4.0:
Both browsers get an error message when running this evaluation copy from the hard disk (Microsoft seems to have built a little too much security into these browsers). All of the files and directory structure must be uploaded to a Web server, or alternatively, use the Netscape browser.
Please note that when the 1st JAVATab&Tree has been uploaded and run on a Web server, there are no reported problems with any browser that supports Java 1.0.2.
You are using Netscape Communicator 4.02 or later:
This browser gets an error message "JAVATabTree.class" not found.
To solve this, just the Codebase tag has to be applied
EG: <APPLET CODEBASE="." CODE="JAVATabTree.class" WIDTH=245 HEIGHT=320>
Your browser does not support Java 1.0.2:
Install the latest browser - Netscape or Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
The 1st JAVATabTree.zip did not extract properly.
When you extract the zip file into the directory of your choice, there should be two sub-directories created - images and jimages. If you are using WinZip, make sure that the check box "Use Folder Names" is marked because of these two sub-directories.
Click here for a list of all of the files, directories and sub-directories.
The browser did not install the applet properly.
Exit the browser and try it again with start.htm.
