Trouble shooting:
If you don't see our Java applet on the top or bottom, or any pictures - any one of the following items may be the cause.
Please just check through them before sending us a support e-mail.
- Go to the menu bar and click on Options, then Network Preferences.
- Click on the Languages tab and mark the check box Enable Java.
- (If you want to also use the Java Script floating window demonstration, just mark the check box Enable JavaScript here too.)
- Go to the menu bar and click View, then Internet Options.
- Click on the Security tab and mark the check box Enable Java.
Are you using Netscape Communicator 4.02 or later?
- This browser gets an error message JAVATab.class not found.
- To solve this, just the codebase tag has to be applied:
- EG:
- <APPLET CODEBASE="." CODE="JAVATab.class" WIDTH=245 HEIGHT=320>
- Both browsers get an error message when running this evaluation copy from the hard disk (Microsoft built in a 'security' feature which diables Java applets when they are run from hard disk).
- To solve this, all of the files and directory structure must be uploaded to a web server.
- The only alternative to this is to use a Netscape browser.
- Please note: When the 1st JAVA Tab has been uploaded correctly and run on a web server, there are no problems with any browser that supports Java 1.0.2.
Your browser does not support Java 1.0.2?
Please just install the latest browser - Netscape's or Microsoft's Internet Explorer.
The browser did not install the applet properly?
Just exit the browser and try it again with start.htm.
