Stephanie is one of only a few female lieutenants in Los Angeles County, and she aspires to be the first female captain in Los Angeles county history. She is as ambitious as she is beautiful. She and Mitch had a short-lived yet steamy romance after his divorce, but haven't seen each other romantically since. Now assigned to headquarters, the battle lines are drawn, creating an antagonistic and humorous, yet cooperative relationship. This season, Stephanie will face several personal challenges with the return of her ex-husband and the discovery that she may have skin cancer.
