Virtual Domains

A Virtual Domain allows you to have a URL (Web address) for your Web site that is unique to your company and is usually based on your company's name. With a Virtual Domain, your URL could be http://your_company.com. In this example, your_company is the domain name.

To set up your Virtual Domain, it is first necessary to register your domain name with InterNic, the coordinating authority that maintains the Domain Name System (DNS). DNS registration involves a fee and is one of the services HeartFire Communications provides.
