Help us!

It would be a great help for H.R.Giger if you could inform us about products
which you see in stores for sale, where you think they may not be authorized (e.g. CD or LP-Cover).
You should inform us in detail, description of the product, name (and if possible the address of the company)
and where it can be bought. We are mainly interested in the use of real Giger artwork
reproduced from originals, not the small ripoffs on leather jackets, motorcycles etc..

H.R.GIGER SUCCESSFUL IN COPYRIGHT
INFRINGEMENT LAWSUIT AGAINST PYRAMID SNOWBOARDS

Last month, on the eve of trial, Pyramid Snowboards settled a copyright infringement
lawsuit commenced by Oscar-winning and internationally-recognized artist H.R.Giger.

Giger had discovered that Pyramid Snowboards had begun manufacturing and selling
snowboards bearing Giger's work of art entitled "The Spell I", without Giger's knowledge, permission or consent.

Fortunately, before a significant number of the infringing snowboards had been sold,
Giger discovered the infringement, commenced a lawsuit in the United States District Court,
and immediately obtained a court order enjoining Pyramid from producing or selling anymore of the infringing boards.

The settlement of the lawsuit included monies paid to Giger, plus a permanent injunction
prohibiting Pyramid from manufacturing or selling any snowboards with Giger's art.

Anyone interested in properly obtaining a license to use Giger's artwork to manufacture
snowboards, or any other products, should contact Leslie Barany of Leslie Barany
