Chickens for Children

Chickens for Children is a scheme in Northern Kenya whereby disabled children can build chicken coops, and are then helped to purchase local hens and a rooster. The eggs are bought off the children for use in the local hospital and elsewhere, and the children use their income to purchase necessities for their families.
