A model hospital

A floor of San Francisco's Pacific Medical Center has become the USA's first 'consumer-oriented hospital unit.' Its features include a non-institutional, home-like decor, free nutritional guidance, nurses who give massages, tapes and films, uninterrupted sleep schedules and a low noise level.
