A Letter to My Granny

If you could write a letter to your Granny what letter would you write? This is what I wrote to mine.

I want to write ........a letter to my Granny

but I donÆt know which one to write

I will write a letter B .....because bees make honey

and my granny is sweet to me........she puts honey in my porridge

I will write a letter C ....because my Granny can see

and she knows all about the sea....all about the sea

and she tells......sea shells...stories to me

fishes making wishes.........come true

I love my Granny........she makes me feel very small

and she makes me porridge and I eat it all

and sometimes I see pictures in my bowl

I think of my granny ..........in the morning

when the sun is shining pots and pans

I think of my Granny......when it's evening time

and the moon begins to smile and shine

and we cuddle in our blankets....tucked in bed

and we will be silly sleepy heads

and the sky will wrap up in her starry shawl

and me and my Granny will remember it all

We will dream the sky my porridge bowl

and I will be a little oat .......and my little boat and I

will sail across the milky way....and my Granny will sometimes wake me up all dreamy

so that we can play....all shiny in the starry skies

because my Granny has twinkles in her eyes.
