NGC-891

NGC-891 in Andromeda. One of the best examples of an Edge-On spiral Galaxy. Visually, I can just make this out with a 10" telescope. Size 11'x1' magnitude 12. It contains 800 billion suns and is 20 million light years distant. Imaged with a ST-6 CCD camera, Tri-colour RGB 10-10-10 minutes.
