If you are using the first version of 
Windows 95 then you might get an error saying 
that "SetupAPI.DLL is missing" when you try to start
the setup program.  This is because this file, 
SetupAPI.DLL, was not part of the first
version of Windows 95.  If you find yourself in
this situation then you can do one of the following:

(Note: To run Discover Painting you can simply double-click
the file "DisPaint" without having to set it up.  The setup
utility is provided as a convenience only and is not required.)

a)  Install Discover Painting manually:  

Simply copy all of the files to any folder on your hard disk.  
We suggest that you first create a new folder named Discover
Painting and put the files in this new folder.  
Now, right click on the file DisPaint.exe and select
"Create Shortcut" from the popup menu.  Now, drag the
new shortcut to your desktop.  You can double-click
this shortcut to start Discover Painting.

b)  Go to the Microsoft web site and download the Windows
Socket 2 Update.  The URL for that file is:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/bin/W95ws2setup.exe

After installing the update, restart the setup application
for Discover Painting.
