How do I get to the satellite?

The only way to figure out the controls is trial and error.

Hint 2 of 8:

The first thing you need to do is take off.  Press the corresponding button,
which is in the upper left corner of the control panel.

Hint 3 of 8:

To reach the satellite, you first need to be in the "go to" mode.  Press the
red button which looks like the number "1" rotated 90 degrees..

Hint 4 of 8:

Then select your target with the U-shaped button just below the "go to"
button -- there's one satellite that looks different from the rest.

Hint 5 of 8:

Before you can get there, you need to build up some speed.

Hint 6 of 8:

Press the "speed up" button (which looks like the right half of an arrow
pointing up) until the "activate" button (the one with an asterisk on it) is
glowing.

Hint 7 of 8:

Then press the "activate" button.

Hint 8 of 8:

Finally, dock with the satellite.  The "dock" button is just below the "take
off" button.
