Scoring

As a word of warning, some of the following hints may contain spoilers.  I've
tried to be as subtle as I can, but reading the hints will probably give away
some puzzle solutions.  Read ahead at your own risk.  Also, note that you'll
get most, if not all, the points in the normal course of solving the game, so
you may want to wait until after you've finished a time area before you read
these hints to figure out where you're missing the points.
