To find the NFS3.exe simply press the START button of Windows, click FIND, then FILES OR FOLDER. Now search for NFS3.exe. The search result shows you the folder which includes the NFS3.exe file. Start the 300SL_Gull_install.bat batchfile which installs all necessary files. Start NFS3, select the mode you want to play (Single Race, Hot Pursuit, Ghost, Multiplay), goto Car selection and scroll down until you see the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing. Choose it, and thatīs it. Start Racing and have a lot of fun. If you donīt trust my bat-File you can easy install the car by your own: - open the explorer - goto your main NFS3 directory (includes the NFS3.exe) - goto the following subdirectory: gamedata\carmodel - create a subdirectory for the car: M300 - extract the M300.viv which is part of the zip-files to the subdirectory , and rename it to car.viv If you want to play online, or give someone a replay, or a ghost file they MUST have the 300 SL Gullwing on their computer in the NFS3 directory. * Updates * To be defined. * Planned Updates* It would be possible to create also the 3D-cockpit for the showcase. So if there is somebody out there, who owns an real 300 SL, or which is more realistic, if there is somebody out there who knows somebody, who knows somebody, who knows.....,who owns an 300 SL, all I need are 5 pictures made inside the cockpit. If you can help me please E-mail me. * Construction * I build up the car from scratch using Carcad 1.35 and Cartool. Therefore the car mesh is very detailed. All airinlets are in 3D and not only painted. The windshields are transparent, and a "real driver" is sitting inside the car. The Build time for the version 1.0 car was about 3 weeks. If you have any comments about the work I did (improvements, bugs) please send me an E-mail. * Sites for download * This file, coming updates and new cars can be downloaded from the following sites: - Tomīs Garage (http://members.xoom.com/Egelkraut/) - NFS Cheats Design (http:/www.nfscheats.com/design) - Hacked Speed III (http://www.nfscheats.com/hs3) - 3D Racing Mania (http://3dracing.allgames.com/just-for-fun/nfs3cars) - The Racing Simulation Site (http://nfs.sports-gaming.com) * Credits * Thanks to EA for making the game an adding the cartool.
