Thanks a lot to Betram Walter and Patrick Schaller for his work on these import format files ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Currently we provide you with import format files for three different Medline sources FORMAT 1: Pubmed *** DATABASE *** Database can be found at: http://www4.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/PubMed/ After you performed your search - Choose "Medline" in drop down box - Click on button "Display" - Click on button "Save" *** NOTE *** In our samples the import in Bibliographix worked best with Pubmed FORMAT 2: Grateful Med *** DATABASE *** Database can be found at: http://igm.nlm.nih.gov/ Choose either begin year: (2000 or later) or end year: (1999 or earlier) Choose level of detail: Long records with abstracts and MeSH headings Choose option format: Tagged MEDLARS format *** NOTE *** Select Medline 1999 IFF if end year = (1999 or earlier) Select Medline 2000 IFF if begin year = (2000 or later) FORMAT 3: Webspirs *** DATABASE *** We found samples where heading of every record was "Record X of Y" (English) and samples where heading was "Datensatz X von Y" (German). We therefore provide you with import format files for both languages. If necessary you should be able to produce import format files for other languages easily by replacing entries "Record" or "Datensatz" on tabsheet "Record" by the correct phrase of this language.
