Module Properties

The module properties window allows you to add (or change) the details of a program that Cookie Pal should monitor for cookies. The fields in this window are as follows:

Description

Enter a description for the program here. You can enter any text that you want to describe the program.

Name

This field must contain the name of the executable file that is used to run the program, and must not include the extension. For example, the program used to run Windows Media Player is named MPLAYER.EXE. So you would just enter MPLAYER for this program to get Cookie Pal to recognize it.

Note: The name that you enter here must match the program name exactly or it will not work correctly. An easier way to add a program name precisely is to use the Add Browser command which allows Cookie Pal to automatically detect the name of the program that is displaying a cookie message on screen.

Type

You must select the type of cookie warnings that the program displays when a cookie is received. You can choose from Internet Explorer, Netscape or Opera style cookie warnings. Most programs display Internet Explorer style cookie messages and so that option is the default setting.
