Mr Clippy

Mr Clippy is designed to store all your clip art in one easy to use application. Simply drop directories containing clips onto Mr Clippy and go and have a cup of tea. Mr Clippy handles all common clip art file formats and will make it easy to find that awkward clip.
  • Handles Draw, ArtWorks, Sprites, JPEGS, TIFF, GIFF and Windows Bitmap files.
  • Also handles Windows Metafiles when used with ImageFs 2.
  • Import as a Sprite, export as Thumbnail, Sprite or JPEG files.
  • Handles CD's and clips stored in Archives.
  • Store clips inside Mr Clippy or leave them on the source media.

    •  Mr Clippy requires Risc Os 3.1 or later, a hard disk and 1Mb of RAM (2Mb recommended). Mr Clippy uses !ChangeFSI for some image processing also compatible with ImageFS.

    ClipNET

    ClipNET is the all purpose network clip art browser. ClipNET works in conjunction with Mr Clippy to deliver compressed clips over your network quickly and simply. Users can see all of the clips stored in Mr Clippy on the file server. If a user wants a clip all they have to do is drag out a file, or just double click on the large thumbnail in the ClipNET window. Users can locate clips by name using the “Find-a-Clip” system or from a menu. All Clips are presented in the same way as they would be from the main Mr Clippy application, except that users cannot modify or delete any of the clips.
  • Allows users to view up to 500,000 clips.
  • Clips are un-compressed locally to reduce network traffic to a minimum
  • Export foreign format bitmap files, such as JPEG images as sprites.
