FIREWORKS SIMULATATION

This program is by Matthew Atkinson, and is nothing to do with Generation Design, as a favour I have put it on my web page for anybody interested in downloading it.

This program is Shareware, all the details of how to register and how the program works etc are supplied on two texts files (Design and !Help) inside the !Pyro application.

Pyrotechnic is a complex firework simulator and editor with which you can construct and display practically any type of firework you can imagine.

Configuration

The computer can configured a number of ways from the configure window. At the top is the kind of processor you have. This affects the limit on the number of particles displayed at any one time.

The screen resolution is either mode 13, 320x256 in 8 bits or 512x400 in 16 bit colour (Risc PC only). Pyrotechnic will refuse to run in 16 bit mode on anything other than a Risc PC.

Sound channels. The more sound channels you have the greater the complexity of sound effects you can hear. However, each requires some processor time so use wisely. The initial configuration is optimised for a standard ARM2 Archimedes. Risc PC users may use all 8 channels with no degradation of display.
