R-Comp Interactive have announced that they plan to release four new conversions within the next few months, Descent,Acorn Quake, Syndicate+ and Abuse.

Syndicate has now been released, Quake within the next few weeks and Abuse has also now been released. All three can be ordered from R-Comp's WWW site at: http://www.rcomp.co.uk/

Quake Nearing

R-Comp today announced that they are about to start processing the pre-orders for their conversion of the PC classic, Quake. Time allowing, a beta version of the player will be sent out to all those who have placed an order by email before the end of the week with the final release to follow within two weeks. This is meerly speculation but it seems rather obvious that R-Comp are/should be aiming for a Southeast Show release in order to gain maximum sales.

R-Comp were also keen to point out that they have not taken any money yet, they have cheques and credit card information but no money will be taken until the game is ready and in the post. If you have placed your Quake order and want to use the CDs with the freeware !ArcQuake, R-Comp will be happy to mail you the box and CDs prior to the release of the Acorn player and then send that at a later date.
