2D precision draughting for RISC OS

WorraCAD was the first CAD system to be developed for the RISC OS desktop. It was designed primarily to be a precision CAD system, suitable for professional engineers as well as schools. To this end, floating point arithmetic is used throughout ensuring that drawings can be produced at their actual size. This scheme also means that constructions, such as tangents and normals, can be created without any significant cumulative error, and that when zoomed in, tangents remain attached to the circles.

As well as being accurate, WorraCAD is also simple to use. A wide range of drawing primitives allows the creation of points, construction lines, construction circles, lines, circles, arcs, ellipses, text and dimensions. These can be created by simply doodling on the screen, or using precision tools for creating tangents, normals, parallels, fillets and chamfers. All regularly used features, such as breaking an existing object for partial deletion, grid operation, zoom and so on, are available via keyboard short cuts similar to those in !Draw.

WorraCAD now has an intuitive icon based menu system which complements the standard RISC OS middle button menus.
