A set of utility software to compliment Acorns !Draw application. DrawWorks offers the user all the following:
  • Fully configurable preferences settings on any machine.
  • Start !Draw with any paper size from A0 to A6 in either portrait or landscape.
  • Full control over the grid, have whatever grid you like appear in Draw every time it's loaded
  • Set up an variable size undo buffer, so any mistakes made in Draw can easily be corrected
  • Start draw with any zoom size you like
  • Select which tool from the toolbox is highlighted when Draw loads.
  • Save multiple preference files and set preferences just by double clicking
  • A complete button bar with over 20 buttons including Save, Print, Edit, Zoom etc
  • Button bar only appears when Draw is being used, and disappears again when you choose a different application
  • A redesigned tear-off toolbox for Draw that can be positioned anywhere on screen. (Not available on RiscPC)
  • A full information box with all the details on any Draw file, including which operating systems it will run on
  • Full use of Auto-kerning fonts in Draw and draw files. Draw normally ignores kerning
  • Full path merging facilities, allowing amazing patterns to be constructed quickly. This also makes Draw files smaller and easier to transport.
  • Scrunching of path objects to produce strange effects, very useful when combined with fonts that have been converted to a path
  • A range of clip art and example files demonstrating all of the features
