Examples:

Is Input 1 on (Checks if input 1 is on - Pelican)
Is Input 5 off (Checks if Input 5 is off)
Is Val 2 > 50 (Checks if Analogue Value 2 is > 50)

A Val reading can be between 0 and 99.

Is Val 4 != a (Checks if Val 4 is not equal to a)
Is Val 1 > Val 2 (Compares Val 1 to Val 2 - Sun-Seeker)
Is Margin > 5 (Checks if the difference between the last compared vals is greater than 5 - Sun-Se)
Is a = b (Checks if a is equal to b)
Is x < 875 (Checks if x is less than 875)

A decision symbol must have a YES and a NO line coming from it. When the question in the symbol is true the YES line will be followed, otherwise the NO line is followed.

Inserting extra symbols

Any of the symbols except Start/Stop/Sub can be inserted between symbols which are in a straight column. The symbols on the flowchart below will automatically move down

Up to twenty-two symbols can be placed in one column. If columns become too long, then a sub-procedure is probably needed.
