It's easy to get a bit blase about some applications. The Realplayer Web browser plug-in has been nestling on the .net CD since the year dot, but we've never drawn any attention to it. Why? We don't really know, but this streaming audio/video player should be an essential part of every net user's collection. Likewise Liquid Audio is becoming an essential and is well worthy of a place in the Essential Software section.
