Fitting Copper Pipe

Most new water supply lines in homes consist of soldered copper pipe. It's easier to cut and join than threaded steel pipe, and it's more resistant to corrosion. The tools you'll need to cut and join copper (right) are inexpensive, and the techniques are easy to pick up.
