Select Settings > Queue Size to view the current Output(tx) and Input(rx) queue sizes for the selected active port.
Generally, queue settings are set when you open a port. If no I/O has occurred on the currently selected active port you may be able to change the queue settings. Enter the desired values and click the OK button to save your changes.
To verify that your changes took affect, select Settings > Queue Size again. If your changes are displayed the port is running with the queue sizes that you specified. If you see the original settings, it indicates I/O has already occurred on the port and the queue settings cannot be changed.
Output(tx) Size - Specifies the size of the output (transmit) queue.
Input(rx) Size - Specifies the size of the input (receive) queue.
OK - Saves
the changes and exits the dialog.
Note: Changes to the queue settings from the Queue
Settings dialog only take affect before any I/O occurs on the active
port. Changes to queue settings after I/O has occurred will not be implemented.
Cancel - Discards the changes and exits the dialog.
