Select Settings > Miscellaneous to view this dialog. Use this dialog to set miscellaneous communication settings including the specific ASCII characters sent for EOF, XON, XOFF, and so on, as well as the selected Windows event toggles. Enter the desired values or place a checkmark in one or more boxes to select the desired events and click the OK button to save your changes.
EofChar - Specifies the value of the character used to signal the end of data.
EvtChar - Specifies the value of the character used to signal an event.
XonChar - Specifies the value of the XON character for both transmission and reception.
XoffChar - Specifies the value of the XOFF character for both transmission and reception.
XonLim - Specifies the minimum number of bytes accepted in the input buffer before the XON character is sent.
XoffLim - Specifies the maximum number of bytes accepted in the input buffer before the XOFF character is sent. The maximum number of bytes accepted is calculated by subtracting this value from the size, in bytes, of the input buffer.
fNull Strip - When checked, discards null bytes when they are received.
fDsrSensitivity - When checked, the Data Set Ready (DSR) signal is monitored for output flow control. If this option is checked and DSR is turned off, output is suspended until DSR is sent again.
fTXContinueOnXoff - When checked, transmission continues after the input buffer has come within XoffLim bytes of being full and the driver has transmitted the XoffChar character to stop receiving bytes. If this option is not checked, transmission does not continue until the input buffer is within XonLim bytes of being empty and the driver has transmitted the XonChar character to resume reception.
fAbortOnError - When checked, indicates read and write operations are terminated if an error occurs.
fErrorChar - When checked, indicates bytes received with parity errors are replaced with the character specified by the ErrorChar member.
OK - Saves the changes and exits the dialog.
Cancel - Discards the changes and exits the dialog.
