Issuing a WCom2 Command

This command opens the specified port or ports in WCom2 Test Terminal. From the command prompt on your system, change directories to the location where the WCom2.exe resides and issue this command.

The format for the WCom2 command is:

WCom2 [PortName] [/F] [/?]

Note: The WCom2 command is not case-sensitive.

The optional parameters for the WCom2 command are described as follows:

• PortName - This parameter specifies one or more port names separated by commas. No space is allowed in the string (for example; com2,com67,com32,com70).

• /? - Displays help associated with this command, if available.

The following commands are all valid:

• WCom2 /?

• WCom2 com1  /F

• WCom2 com2,com67,com32,com70

The following procedure describes how to issue the WCom2 command:

1. Select Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt and change directories to the location where the WCom2.exe resides.

2. Issue the WCom2 command.
   
   The WCom2 - Windows Test Terminal window appears and opens the specified ports.
