The RexxSerDev.library is dangerously buggy. Otherwise I might have my
computer controlling X10 right now.
If all you want to do is log I'd suggest pulling NComm off AmiNet (but try not
to do much with the script language, also buggy (its so hard finding a stable
serial interface!!))
