Vented clip-on A1200 CC_RESET adapter now in stock

 
 

 


In response to requests from particularly our overseas customers for a simple solution to the CC_RESET problem which affects most A1200's when using a PCMCIA ethernet card, we have designed and produced a user-installable solution - the ADPT-CCRESET. Unlike other attempts at user-installed solutions, the Eyetech adapter has several advantages:

  • It is a push/clip fit over the GAYLE chip (U5), and does not require any form of soldering
  • It is physically compatible with the EZVGA Internal scandoubler / flickerfixer Mk.2 - which has chip adapters on the adjacent ALICE and LISA chips.
And most importantly:
  • It is fully vented (see picture) to help prevent the overheating of the underlying GAYLE chip.
The CCRESET adapter is now available ex stock at �14.95, or for just �7.50 if purchased at the same time as one of our PCMCIA ethernet + 5-click network installer bundles.

Please note: The Elbox IDE Flyer also has an adapter which sits on top of the GAYLE chip - so if you have one of these (or the 'Power' or 'Winner' badged versions) then the only satisfactory solution is to send your board back for a professional under-board fix at our workshops.
